Lion Dr. Anjali Chhotray was born at Cuttack, schooling at Revenshaw Collegiate School, Intermediate at Revenshaw College, MBBS, Diploma and Post Graduate Degree at S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack. Started her professional carrier in the Dept. of Health Govt. of Orissa, as specialist and H.O.D. Anacesthesiology, Capital Hospital Bhubaneswar, C.D.M.O., Keonjhar Joint Director Health. Now visiting Professor I.M.S. Sum Medical College, Bhubaneswar.
Lion Dr. Anjali joined Lionism in 1985 as Charter President of Lioness Club of Bhubaneswar, Charter President of Lion Club of Bhubaneswar lotus in 1998-2000. At district level became Zone Chairperson in 2003-04, Region Chairperson 2004-05 and District Chairperson MERL. She became Vice District Governor for 2008-09. She is recipient of Best Lioness President, 100% President Award, Best District Chairperson, Extension Membership and guiding Lion Award, Multiple Leadership Award International Medal, International President’s Appreciation Certificate, International President’s Leadership Medal. She is Melvin Jones Fellow.
Lion Dr. Anjali is life member of All India Medical Association, All India Society of Anacesthesiology, Indian Cancer Society, Hindukusht Nivaran Sangh, Orissa Red Cross Society, Plant Lover’s Association, Divine Life Society and Chinmoy Mission.
She is married to Lion Nikunj Chhotray, MJF Past District Governor. She is blessed with a son Lion Dr. Pritam working in medical college, 2 Daughter Bursha and Sweta (Both are IT Professional). Son in law Samaresh, Software Professional and daughter in law Jyoti is Electrical and electronic Engineer.
