MEMBERSHIP / EXTENSION / RETENTION AWARDS FOR MULTIPLE DISTRICT 322
FOR THE YEAR 2008-2009
 
The following awards were announced by the Lion leaders of the multiple as stated below for membership extension, club extension and retention.
I.
CLUB EXTENSION
(Award sponsored by MD Extension Chairperson 2008-11 Lion Raj Kumar Agarwal)
 
 
 
The Sponsoring Club’s President would get the following award at the end
of the year :
 
 
 
Extension of 1 club
Extension of 2 clubs
Extension of 3 clubs     
Extension of 4 clubs     
Extension of 5 or more clubs

II.
FOR NEW MEMBERS IN EXISTING CLUBS
(Award to be sponsored by MCC-E, Lion M P Agarwal)
 
 
 
These awards will be given to the sponsoring Lions as and when they
sponsor members.
 
 
 
For sponsoring 3 new members
For sponsoring 6 new members
For sponsoring 9 new members
For sponsoring 12 new members
For sponsoring 15 and above new members

III.
FOR TOP DGs - This award will be given only if MD 322 has a net membership growth of more than 2500 in the 9 sub districts in the year 2008-2009.
(Award to be sponsored by MD 322)
 
 
 
The top two District Governors in membership growth will get Rs.50,000/- each for travel to the 2010 Convention at Sydney, Australia.
 
 
IV.
Recognitions through MJF presentation
(These awards are being sponsored jointly by PID A P Singh, ID(Endorsee) Bishnu Bajoria, and Multiple Retention Chairperson 2008-2011 Lion Sudipto Mukherjee)
 
 
A.
If MD 322 has a net membership growth of at least 2500 in the 9 sub districts in the year 2008-2009 the following awards will be given :
 
 
 
The Governors can nominate themselves or any other Lion member for getting the Melvin Jones Fellowship.
 
 
 
a) For 95% retention of members
- each DG to get two MJFs
 
b) Districts with net gain of 350 or more
- one MJF each
 
c) Districts with club extension of more than 15 clubs    
- one MJF each
 
d) Districts which increases more than 100 women members  
- one MJF each
 
 
B.
In the Districts having a net growth of 350 or more
 
 
 
a) clubs having the highest membership growth  
- one MJF each
 
b) Club having 100% retention                 
- one MJF each(to be decided by lottery)
