In 2007, Lions Quest began a relationship with the Character Education Partnership to bring workshops with CEP's framework and Lions Quest lessons to schools and partnered with and became a member organization of the Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America. Lions Quest was added to the approved list of science-based programs on the California, USA, Department of Education Web site and the approved list of research-validated programs on the California Healthy Kids Resource Center Web site.
Lions originally partnered with Quest International in 1984. LCIF acquired the rights to Lions Quest in 2002 to increase the program's reach and offer greater support and visibility for the Lions who work with their local schools and communities on the program. Lions Quest is currently active in 47 countries and program materials have been translated into 24 languages.
Lions Quest "Skills" Programme is a joint activity of Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and Lions Quest in India Foundation (LQIF). This programme is dedicated for creating a Family, School, and Community Partnership for the positive youth development. Lions Clubs International Foundation has purchased the Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence Programme on 30th. September 2002, from Quest International.
The programme has been designed as a three tier value based education programme.

These Programmes are offered in a classroom atmosphere in schools in 36 countries including America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, South America and many European countries.
India was the first Asian country to introduce skills for Adolescence Programme We helped Pakistan , Sri-Lanka , Nepal , Bangladesh , Kenya, Uganda , Tanzania , Botswana to implement the Programme.
Presently the Programme has been introduced in all the Multiple Districts of India.
The Teachers set of 7 books are in English, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, adapted to the Indian Culture.
As on August 2007 Lions Quest in India Foundation has conducted 598 Teachers Training Workshops.
