Lion Vinod Khanna born New Delhi on 12th March 1951 joined Lionism in 1977 as member of Lion Club New Delhi Rajouri Garden & now a member of Lions Club New Delhi South in District 321-A2(India).
 
He became the president in 1981-82 and thereafter adhered all the important office including Zone Chairman, Dy. District Governor, District P.R.O. and District Cabinet Secretary. He was elected District Governor in the year 1992-1993 of Undivided District 321-A (Now A-1,A-2 and A-3) which was the largest District in the World 212 clubs. During his tenure as District Governor, he extended 17 new clubs.
 
He was elected Multiple Council Chairman in the year 1993-94. This was not the end. He was made Multiple Chairman Lions Quest (1992-96), Multiple Chairman Extension (1996-2001). He was involved at National level also and in 1996 he was appointed Treasurer " All India Lion Convention", EDITOR "INDIAN LIONS" magazine (1998-2000), National Chairman International Parade Birmingham (1998) & Boston (2006). In the year 2005-2006 he was appointed Vice Chairman MDCCI. At international level twice he has served as member Election Committee at Denver & Boston Conventions. He was endorsed for International Director for the year (2007-09) from Multiple District 321.
 
He has attended Six International Conventions held at Hong Kong, Seoul (Korea), Birmingham(U.K.), Denver (USA),Hong Kong and Boston (USA).He has received many Lionistic Awards in recognition of his achievements. To mention a few, he received 100% President Award, Lion of the year of District 321-A, 100% District Governor Award, 24 member key award, Two guiding Lions awards, Five club extension awards. He is proud recipients of Three International President Leadership Awards and Five International President Medals. He has been specially recognized with "Outstanding Achievements Awards" by Lions International for his work as Multiple Extension Chairman.
 
He has an established business of Import & manufacturing of self-adhesive papers. His partner in service Lady Lion Renu, A past zone chairperson, is an equally devoted lion. She is also recipient of Two International President's certificate of appreciation and many other recognition's They are blessed with three sons Pulkit, Varun and Sidharth.
 

He is a firm believer in service to mankind, this is self evident from the slogan "PROVIDE SERVICE FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED" which he gave in his year. He has donated Blood 38 times on Emergency calls.

Malik Khuda Baksh from Karachi, Pakistan, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 90th International Convention, held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, July 2-6, 2007.
 
Director Baksh works in the petroleum and gas industries. A member of the Karachi Lions Club since 1983, Director Baksh has held many offices within the association, including club president, zone chairperson, Installation Committee chairperson, region chairperson, district governor, council chairperson, Multiple District Committee chairperson and chairperson of the 2006 Multiple District 305 Pakistan Annual Convention. He also served as a national/multinational coordinator for Campaign SightFirst II.  
 
In recognition of his service to the association, Director Baksh has received numerous awards, including the 100% Club President’s Award, the 100% District Governor’s Award, 17 Governors in Campaign SightFirst, the District Governor’s Excellence Award, the International Membership Growth Award, the 20 Years Monarch, 20 Years 100% Perfect Attendance Award, five International President’s Certificates of Appreciation, the International President’s Leadership Award, five International President’s Appreciation Medals, an International President’s Gold Medal and a Medal of Merit from Multiple Council 305-Pakistan in recognition of 2431 cornea graftings. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
 
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Baksh is active in numerous professional and community organizations. He has served as president of the National Education Society, senior vice chairperson of the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (25 years), president/chairperson of the CNG Station Owners Association of Pakistan and senior vice chairperson of the Standing Committee of Petrol & Gas, The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also the recipient of Galaxy of Youth’s Founder and Life Time Patron Award, an Appreciation Award from Lt. General Saghir Hussain of the Pakistan Army, an Appreciation Award from Orbis Inc. (Medical Education for the Eyes of the World) and an Appreciation Award and Medal for services rendered in connection with the visit and eye operation conducted by Orbis Flying Eye Hospital.
 

Director Baksh and his wife, Kulsoom, also a Lion and Melvin Jones Fellow, have two children and three grandchildren.

LION BISHNU BAJORIA was born at Bankura in West Bengal on 14th November 1945 in a highly respected family of businessmen and socially conscious philanthropists and joined Lionism in 1976 as Charter Member of Lions Club of Bankura, then in 322B. He became Club President in 1981-82 and became District Governor of undivided District 322C in 1988-89 and was also elected as Multiple Council Treasurer. He was adjudged as the only 100% District Governor during the year in his Multiple. He was elected as International Director for 2008-10 at the International Convention at Bangkok in June 2008.
 
He served twice as Multiple District Membership Chairman during 1989-92 and 1996-99. He also acted as National Coordinator Membership during 1998-2001. He was one of the 16 senior Lions invited by International President to participate in the high level Membership Summit for our Constitutional Area at Kathmandu in October 1996. He is known throughout the country for his work in the field of Membership and his monthly circulars on Membership Highlights have been very popular and widely appreciated. He served as MDCCI Treasurer in 2006-07 & 2007-08.
 
He served on the Election Committee at Honolulu International Convention in 2000 and was a Faculty Member at the MERL Chairpersons Training Program at Tunisia in December 2005. He has been an important Faculty Member in the various Regional Institutes held in his Multiple over the years. He has attended 14 International Conventions and 9 Area Forums.
 
His numerous Lionistic Awards include 4 International President’s Awards, 2 International Leadership Awards and Top 20 Leo Chairmen Award. He is a Progressive MJF and has pledged a major gift of $50000 to CSF II (highest individual contribution in MD 322). He is also a Life Member of the Association and a member of the LCIF Heritage Club.
 
His family is in the petroleum trade for more than 103 years with branches in various places of the country. The family also has an Industrial Gas Plant, Distributorship of Mahindra Tractors, Distributorship of Tata Motors Commercial vehicles and a modern Diagnostic Centre cum Nursing Home.
 

His wife Indra is also an active Lion having been a Zone Chairperson, District PRO and District Bulletin Editor in the District. She is also an MJF and Life Member of the Association. They have 2 sons Amit and Vinay and 4 grand children. Lion Bajoria’s elder brother Lion Hari Bajoria is also a very senior Lion being Past Council Secretary and a recipient of the highest award Ambassador of Goodwill.
